Beschreibung

Die PVC-Reduktion wird direkt in eine Klebemuffe eines anderen PVC-Fittings eingeklebt um diese auf einen geringeren Durchmesser herabzusetzen. Sie ist so kurz, dass sie komplett in der Muffe verschwindet. Die Reduktion besitzt ebenfalls eine Klebemuffe, in die Anschließend ein PVC-Rohr eingeklebt werden kann. Wie die eingebaute Reduktion aussieht sehen sie im folgenden Beispiel.

Reduzierung einer Klebemuffe

Die Reduktion wird in eine Klebemuffe eines anderen PVC-Fittings eingeklebt, um diese zu reduzieren. Anschließend kann in die nun reduzierte Klebemuffe der Reduktion ein PVC-Rohr eingeklebt werden. Wie Sie auf dem Bild sehen können, schließt die Reduktion Flach an der Muffenkante der reduzierten Muffe ab.

Häufige Fragen

PVC-U ist ein Kunststoff, welcher frei von Weichmachern und Schwermetallen ist und sich für die Trinkwasserversorgung eignet. Er ist in der Unbedenklichkeitsliste des Umweltbundesamtes aufgeführt. Viele PVC-U Fittings sind bereits vom DVGW auf die Trinkwassertauglichkeit geprüft und zertifiziert. Beachten Sie allerdings, dass verschiedene PVC-Fittings und Ventile auch aus anderen Materialien bestehen, welche nicht für die Trinkwasserversorgung verwendet werden sollten. Hierzu zählen z. B. Dichtungen aus EPDM. Für Trinkwasserleitungen können Sie alternativ eine PE-Rohrleitung, welche für die Trinkwasserversorgung zertifiziert ist verwenden.

Ein Zusammenstecken der Fittings und Rohre ist nicht ausreichend, um eine dichte und druckbeständige Rohrleitung zu erhalten. Der Außendurchmesser der PVC-Rohre sowie der Innendurchmesser der Klebemuffen ist leichten Toleranzen unterworfen, welche bei der Produktion entstehen. Es kann vorkommen, das die Rohre und Fittings beim Zusammenstecken Spiel haben (lose sind) oder gar nicht ohne Kleber und Reiniger zusammengesteckt werden können.

PVC-U Druckrohre und Fittings werden miteinander verklebt oder verschraubt sowie über Flanschverbindungen miteinander verbunden. Die Rohre werden generell verklebt. Zum Kleben der Rohre benötigen Sie zusätzlich einen PVC-U Kleber und gegebenenfalls PVC-Reiniger. Ein Anrauhen der Klebeflächen ist nicht nötig.

Klebeanleitung für PVC-Rohren und Fittings

Nein. PVC-Rohrleitungen sind ausschließlich für den Transport von Flüssigkeiten ausgelegt. Für geringe Druckbereiche wie bei Absauganlagen etc. können die Rohre jedoch verwendet werden.
